Son of Brave New Word (Evocabulary Part Three)
Here's a new word I've coined today while having a rant to a writing colleague on the phone:
ASBRAT Noun - Pr.: \əz-brat, (ˌ)az-brat\
1. An ill-mannered and immature young adult that exhibits anti-social behaviour towards the general public. Orig. derived from ASBO (anti social behaviour order) a legal preventative order issued by the courts in the UK to potential young offenders to discourage further incidents. Usually applied up until the age of 14-15 after which they may be referred to as ASBASTOS.
