How to freak out your friends and family
Inspired by the works of Ptolemy, Jennifer, Sophie and David I dug out my box of oddly shaped bits and pieces and decided that I'd start to assemble some into artworks. I've been collecting junk for years; mostly organic stuff like driftwood, shells, bones and stones with a view to one day turning them into something meaningful and artistic.
Well, here's effort Number One constructed entirely from driftwood, wire and two-part epoxy putty (but with a clever paint job to disguise the joins). I call it Pantopoda. Here are three views of the beastie (it's about 49cms (19 inches) high).
It's freaked out my wife, eldest daughter and both dogs so far.
